End of the Year 年末

I realize there is a part of me trying to preserve old version of myself so hard for old friends and family.

I didn’t want to confuse them and I didn’t want to tell them I was not into what I was into when I spent time with them in the past.

But I noticed that I should just tell them. I keep changing and experiencing new things so it’s impossible for me to preserve the way I used to be, and it’s too confusing.

I speak new languages, eat different foods, hang out with new friends, study different things, work different jobs, dream new dreams, value different things, draw different things, write different things, and travel different places.

So I’m not the same person. I’m the same but I have so many more layers inside my body and a little bit of more depth.

I might end up forgetting your birthday, but I still want to change.

I love how I feel like I can write everything off at the end of the year.
Let’s write everything off, both good and bad things, and celebrate 🙂
